Women’s Welcome Letter

GOLF – what a wonderful thought this time of year!
SPRING – warmer weather is coming!
SPRING GOLF – can’t wait to get out to play!

We had a great 2011 season and there are many great plans for the upcoming year.  Eric DeStefano does an awesome job with our scoring and prizes each week.  Dawn and the McDermott family keep improving Twin Hills.

I will be taking over from Cheryl as the president.  I want to thank her for her wonderful service during the past two years.  If you have any ideas or suggestions, Eric and I are always very interested in hearing them.  We’ve have a great league but there is always room for changes or improvements.  One of my goals is to have weekly emails regarding that week’s tournament, previous week’s results, and any other topics that might come up.

The league will be starting Wednesday, April 11th with tee off each week from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and after 5:30 p.m.  In order to reserve your place on the league, you must complete the attached form and return it to me no later than March 28th, along with your check in the amount of $115.00. This fee is for your state handicap, weekly cash prizes, Ghin Tournament and year-end banquet.  This year, there is an additional week, a new tournament schedule, and monthly social events.  Please make every effort to get your check in early or if you do not plan on returning, please send me back an email. If I do not receive your reply by the date stated above, your place will be offered to a person on the waiting list.

We would like to have our preseason meeting on Wednesday, March 28th, at 6:30 p.m. at Twin Hills Country Club. We will discuss rules of play, annual banquet, weekly tournament, SNEWGA and answer any questions you may have. Reunite with old friends while enjoying delicious snacks and wine/beer!  We would like to see all members of the league along with new members.
